| He torqued the head bolts, set the idle to the correct speed and checked over the transmission linkage. I could not get Doublewide to go into reverse, or so I thought. Actually it turned out to be the reverse lock not engaging properly. Whenever I put her into reverse, there would be a loud bang, like a gunshot, and the drive leg would rise out of the water.
